Problematika korupce, zejména z hlediska jejího propojení s organizovaným zločinem
Abstract:
The first part of this study presents the results of an expert questionnaire survey focused on the issue of corruption and its use by organized crime groups. In this respect, it follows on from the traditional annual survey on organized crime. However, the current survey, which was conducted in August 2025, narrows its focus considerably and concentrates in more detail on issues of corruption. The aim was to obtain qualitative findings, e.g., on specific forms of bribery in practice, the maximum amount of bribery encountered by respondents, the position of persons offering or providing bribes, as well as an effort to identify professional groups most frequently threatened by corruption. The results of the questionnaire survey are supplemented by case studies in the second part of the study. Five specific cases from criminal law practice are briefly presented here, in which criminal activity of a corrupt nature related to an organized criminal group was involved.
